The artists’ residencies and studios are strictly private and may only be visited by prior arrangement with the artists in residence.
The sculpture park is open for free to the public on weekends and public holidays from 10am – 5pm (please note entrance gates close at 4pm), during the course of the exhibition, except if there is a concert or other special event announced on the website

Directions from Johannesburg to Nirox Foundation
The drive will take between 40 – 45min from JHB. From Johannesburg join M5 Beyers Naude via Melville towards North / Honeydew, Drive over N1 proceeding straight ahead, Pass Honeydew and its squatter camp, Go over N14 proceeding straight, After about 2km turn left into Kromdraai rd in the direction of Maropeng, Pass 1st, 2nd traffic circles, On the 3rd traffic circle turn left again in the direction of Maropeng, Just after turning We are +/- 800m on the right (second wooden gate – Nirox.)
Directions from Pretoria to Nirox Foundation
The drive will take between 40 – 45min from PTA. From Pretoria take the N14 way to Krugersdorp, Pass the Lanseria/Randburg offramp, Take the next offramp which is Zwartkop/Randburg, Turn right into M5 Beyers Naude, After about 2km turn left into Kromdraai rd in the direction of Maropeng, Pass 1st, 2nd traffic circles, On the 3rd traffic circle turn left again in the direction of Maropeng, Just after turning We are +/- 800m on the right (second wooden gate – Nirox.)
On site parking is available through the designated entrances only.

Access to and use of the sculpture park and facilities is strictly at visitors own risk. The foundation, its management and agents accept no responsibility or liability for any damage, injury or loss of any kind, howsoever arising. Specifically, without limitation, visitors are made aware that the property comprises extensive unprotected water-bodies and is host to wild game.
No picnics, pets, bicycles, food or beverages are permitted on the property.
Children under adult supervision only
Visitors are required to remain strictly within the limits of the park. Trespass beyond will be prosecuted.
NIROX is a ‘leave no trace’ environment. Visitors are expected to respect and help preserve the park and its environment.
